Lied Truth

Many instances happen that makes us say “Wow!! Incredible, never seen such a thing”. Either we read them some where, or we get it from the very well-known idiot-box, the television. Unbelievable happenings, some called aliens, others considered miracles as we couldn’t prove them by science. It’s really strange that we have restricted our domain by just saying that everything that we can prove by science is considered correct. Those that can’t are forced to be accepted as off beam or fake. This really sometimes makes me feel little astound, for example when we talk about god, many scientific minds say, we can’t prove him so god do not exist. But then I think may be science is not worth developed to prove god’s existence. These were my thoughts that I and my friends were discussing the day before i.e. on 30th March.
Meanwhile, I got a phone call, a friend saying “What do you think about that shocking news?” He added “How strange to know that they are amongst us, eating, drinking and breathing in the same air.”
After saying this he said to open Google and check that out by my own self. Too curious to wait till morning, I clicked on the browser and typed google.com. What I saw was weird, yet too simple.
“SHOCKING! CHOQUER! ENTSETZEN! ” these were few of the words I identified as from English, French and German. Thanks to my being trilingual. The main thing was that they were there on the well-known site called google.com, on the front page of it. With over a million clicks a day on the front page, it was really a worth site for advertisement. Its front page is considered the costliest page to use for an advertisement on the net.
I switched on the T.V. this link was not only on the site but sooner in this era of mass communication; it was there on every news channel. Just heard a scientist telling about the stranger observations he made. So, without wasting a moment I went back on my computer to find out what actually was going on.
After that, my eyes were wide open. For few seconds I kept looking on the page only, guessing the reasons behind all of them. All proving that some unknown mystery was hidden behind it, ready to be seen by the whole world.
I clicked on the link and what I saw was nothing but a simple text document and a video attached at the bottom of that text. The text was written in red letters meant of course for increasing the reader’s curiosity in it. The text goes like this
“Hi friends, I am Douglas Dolphus, an assistant scientist at CERN. It will be a shocking news to you all but some day or the other it had to happen .To prepare our selves from the horrendous end it’s the time to open our eyes and take a bold decision whether we want freedom or eventually want to accept slavery. What I am talking about are the left-handed people. Amazing isn’t it? For almost all of us, they are quite the same like rest of us. But no! They are not.
Going back in history of the word sinister, as many of us know, means the evil. The sinister deeds are the evil deeds that were supposed to bring bad luck and sorrows to the people around. Why then its significant here? Well the reason is behind its other meaning which is derived from its latin origin meaning left-handed people. When we combine them as what the latin people and the rest of Europe thought, sinister means actually the set of people who will bring bad luck to the society.”
Quoted was the line of the famous poet William Blake
“When a sinister person means to be your enemy, they always start by trying to become your friend”
He further added saying
“This was just a quote till yesterday before the footage which showed the origin of the left-handed…”
Then there was the footage. I clicked on it which started by showing an old man looking in doubtful manner towards a man who was just sitting and writing with his left hand. Then there was the interview with of a head Scientist at the CERN labs, Geneva. That scientist told about the sightings of a person. The strange thing was that the man was literally shown going straight into a mirror and then at the same instant coming back from it. Same height, same eyes and with the same complexion, he was just like the one went in.
He said “What do you first observe when you look into a mirror? The quickest reply is indeed that we observe that a same person with a single change – Its left is our right and our right is left for the mirror image. So, he is the opposite of what we are. In a way we are the Dexter and he is the sinister of ourselves”
Then he showed the history of that person and the changes in him that took place. The scientist said “People who know him, his family members, friends etc said he was earlier right-handed but one day they saw him writing with left hand. From that day, he is writing with left hand only. On asking he simply over looks it saying he likes it this way. The family members say his friend circle has also changed and surprisingly on careful studies it was found that all the friends had only 1 thing in common. Surprisingly, all were left-handed”.
Again in the video the scientist appears telling some data which he worked upon. He says “Generally left-handed people marry left-handed and the kids they have are born with high probability of being lefty. So, watch them closely, they are not like us, the things that our eyes see can be deceptive enough to blind ourselves from taking correct decisions. They are of different world, came here to invade. ”
The 15 minutes video-footage and the letter come to an end. Those alphabets written in red were horrifying, the way they were written, the message they conveyed.
For whole day it kept me wondering what was all that, the phone call, the site with the video and then the news telecasts. What if some day really we are ruled by people we call ours but in reality they are not and just aback us showing their reality.
This all was getting on my nerves, the evening news paper, news channels all were busy saying the same thing for the whole day long. I myself too searched the net if any thing except that singular instance has happened any where else but all in vain. It was a single instance over which google was claiming to be true.
The whole scene changed abruptly when in an interview with a manager of google gave his first public appearance saying it as a joke. It was 1st of April, 2008. Google celebrates each festival by changing its icon or adding a character to it. This time he said they thought of a different plan and to celebrate the April Fool’s Day they created this hoax.
So, this way the day ended and I was beguiled. The only satisfaction was that I was not alone.
